When individuals come together in community the shared “we” ascends in importance. The spaces between individuals, at best, start to take on curious, creative, and caring qualities and bonds of unity form. What more do we need to know about the meaning of belonging to bring to life the Unitarian Universalist aspiration, “Our separate fires will kindle one flame.”
