Welcome to Religious Education at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation in Stamford!  If you are looking for a place to help your children grow spiritually, learn about Unitarian Universalist values and our central value of love, and be part of a beloved community of faith, you have found it!

We offer Religious Education (“RE”) for children and youth in preschool through 12th grade taught by our teams of UUC volunteers.  Some of our volunteers have children currently participating in RE and others do not.

Our RE program has 4 aims:

  1. Build community by celebrating life’s journey, milestones, and intergenerational connections together;
  2. Nurture spiritual growth and development by fostering a free and responsible search for truth and meaning;
  3. Cultivate our children’s U.U. identity by teaching them about our values, principles and sources, heritage, and traditions; and
  4. Promote commitment to justice and ecological sustainability in the world through education, service and social action.

We take the safety of our children, volunteers, and entire congregational community very seriously. Click here to read our safety policy!
