Our Rental Spaces at UUC Stamford

The Sanctuary

UUC Stamford’s Sanctuary can accommodate up to 200 people. Chairs are not fixed and can be arranged to suit weddings, concerts, lectures, or ceremonies. A stunning rosette stained glass window and rows of historic windows fill the room with rich natural light. In the evening, customizable lighting can be set to match the tone of your event.

The Community Room

Our multi-purpose Community Room accommodates up to 70 people. Large windows offer natural daylight while adjustable chandeliers and wall sconces set the right atmosphere in the evening. A wall-mounted pull-down screen is available for films or presentations. Folding chairs and rectangular tables are stored on-site and can be arranged to suit your gathering.

The Kitchen

Our on-site kitchen is a convenient space for staging, reheating, and serving food brought in by caterers or groups. It includes a full-size refrigerator, two microwaves, an oven with six gas burners, a sink, a commercial dishwasher, as well as an island and ample counter space for prep and plating.

The kitchen is ideal for weddings, receptions, memorials, meetings, and community events that include food service—but it is not a commercial kitchen. It is best used for warming and serving pre-prepared meals, not for cooking or food production on-site.

Convenient Downtown Location

We’re located in the heart of downtown Stamford, directly across the street from the Avon Theatre and just a mile from the train station. The neighborhood features casual restaurants, fine dining, coffee shops, pubs, and boutiques. City parking lots are located just behind Bedford Street, with access across from our driveway.
