Rev. Joan Javier-Duval

This Sunday, we will be sojourning with the Universalist Church of Montpelier, Vermont. Their minister, the Rev. Joan Javier-Duval, will be leading the service, “Good Medicine: Ancestor Stories & Songs. Rev. Joan and her congregation are happy to welcome us to their worship service this Sunday. The service is held via zoom and starts promptly at 10 a.m. The zoom room will be open at 9:45 a.m. for gathering and announcements. After the service, we are invited to join them for their social hour (using the zoom breakout rooms like we usually do at UUC-Stamford.)

Children–don’t forget to Zoom back to UUC for Religious Education on Sunday afternoon! Prek-1st graders will meet at 12:00; 2nd-5th graders will meet at 12:30.

On Sunday’s when Rev. Craig is not leading worship and we don’t have a lay-led service or a pulpit guest, we visit (take a sojourn with) other Unitarian Universalist congregations. Zoom allows us to sojourn to other congregations across the country and meet up with other Unitarian Universalists. It is a great opportunity to experience different styles of worship and hear other UU ministers. It also reminds us and the host congregation that we are all part of a wider faith community.
