What is Unitarian Universalism’s “great story”? How has that story played out here in Stamford over the past 200 years? How might the story be evolving in our times? Join us for Chapter One of a sermon series, as we explore our UUC roots and branches. It’s a story that we get to remember – and create – together!

**Third Sunday is Justice Sunday! We are proud to include singers from INTEMPO in our service, which will be followed by a conversation with Douglas Laustsen,  their Director of Operations. INTEMPO is a Stamford, CT-based youth-development organization that provides high-quality classical and intercultural music education to children predominantly from immigrant backgrounds and from communities underrepresented in the arts. INTEMPO is committed to connecting the dots between intercultural music education and its influence on the overall development of children.

INTEMPO began in 2011 with 2 teachers and 40 students right here at UUC! The organization has grown since then in leaps and bounds to become a welcoming space for music education, cultural exchanges, and creative expression. They now have their own space and have reached thousands of students
in Stamford and beyond.**
