On Sunday, June 9th, our youth students are invited to learn more about Buddhism! We will start at 2 PM at the UUC with a short (15-20 minute) introductory conversation led by UUC friend Shannon Stearman. Afterwards, we’ll be driving to the Tibetan Buddhist Center of Redding, CT, and will have an opportunity to learn more and continue the conversation that was started with Shannon, as well as see the temple and (if the folks at the temple are willing) have the chance to engage in a meditative practice themselves.

This event is for our middle school students and their families, however other interested adults are welcome to attend! Please contact Andrew Laro for more information. Middle school families should note that this is not a drop-off event – families will have the opportunity to engage in learning together!
