Dear Friends,

I share the sad news today that William Fleming, our groundskeeper, died on Christmas Eve in hospice at Stamford Hospital. Our hearts go out to Williams’ wife, Phyllis Green, and to his family and friends. William was a longtime friendly presence at UUC, always helpful with keeping our lawn mowed and our snow shoveled, and greeting each of us with a smile and a kind word. We will remember William in a Memorial Service, at a date to be determined in the upcoming weeks.
